As Kenya continues to expand renewable energy adoption, the demand for reliable battery energy storage systems is increasing. While solar power provides significant potential for clean energy development, businesses and households still face challenges including grid instability, rising electricity costs, and the need for reliable backup power. Energy storage is becoming a key solution to improve energy resilience and maximize renewable energy utilization.
At the 11th Solar Africa Kenya 2026, ZETATECH showcased its advanced residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage solutions at Booth 120, attracting attention from local partners, installers, and energy professionals.

For residential applications, ZETATECH presented its ZT-16FL 16.07kWh residential energy storage system, designed to help households store excess solar energy, increase energy independence, and maintain reliable power supply during grid interruptions. With flexible installation and high-capacity LFP battery technology, the system is well suited for homes seeking smarter energy management solutions.
For commercial and industrial users, ZETATECH introduced its ZetaCube 261kWh battery energy storage system, providing a reliable solution for businesses such as factories, commercial buildings, and hospitality facilities. By supporting peak shaving, energy cost optimization, and backup power applications, the system helps reduce dependence on traditional diesel generators while improving operational efficiency.

During the three-day exhibition, ZETATECH held discussions with regional partners and industry professionals, who showed strong interest in how battery storage solutions can address Kenya’s energy challenges and support solar development across Africa.

The successful participation at Solar Africa Kenya 2026 further strengthens ZETATECH’s commitment to the African market. Moving forward, ZETATECH will continue delivering safe, reliable, and adaptable energy storage solutions to support a cleaner and more resilient energy future.
