Building on Proven Results in the Philippines
Following ZETATECH’s recently commissioned hybrid solar storage project for a local manufacturing facility in the Philippines, another customer is now benefiting from the company’s energy storage technology. Building on the positive results of the previous project—where a 22kW solar array, hybrid inverters, and ZT-16FL batteries helped the customer reduce grid dependence and save approximately US$690 per month—this new installation further demonstrates how ZETATECH’s solar-plus-storage solutions can address the Philippines’ growing demand for more affordable and reliable electricity.
A Smarter Energy Solution for the Philippine Market
The project combines three 12kW hybrid solar inverters operating in parallel with eight 16kWh ZT-16FL connected in parallel, providing a scalable energy storage solution for the customer’s daily electricity needs. The system can provide approximately 128 kWh of storage capacity and generate up to 114 kWh of solar energy per day, with stored power available to support the building when solar generation is insufficient or grid power is unavailable.
For businesses in the Philippines, where electricity prices are among the higher levels in Southeast Asia and energy costs can significantly affect operating expenses, combining solar generation with battery storage provides a practical way to improve energy efficiency.
Reducing Electricity Bills with Solar + Storage
During the daytime, the system prioritizes solar generation to supply the building’s loads and charge the batteries. Stored energy can then be used when needed, reducing reliance on grid electricity and helping the customer maintain a more stable energy supply.
Based on the project's operating assumptions, the system is estimated to help the customer save approximately US$930 per month in electricity costs. This translates to potential annual savings of around US$11,160, while also increasing the utilization of locally generated solar power.

Beyond cost savings, the customer benefits from improved energy resilience. The ZETATECH system provides 24/7 power support, helping reduce exposure to grid interruptions and maintain continuity for essential building loads.
As the Philippines accelerates renewable energy and energy storage deployment, including new policies supporting the integration of ESS with renewable generation, the demand for reliable and cost-effective commercial energy storage solutions is expected to continue growing.
