These internationally recognized certifications confirm that ZetaCube meets rigorous North American safety requirements at both the battery and system levels, further strengthening its readiness for the U.S. and Canadian markets.
UL 9540: System-Level Safety for Energy Storage
Among the two certifications, UL 9540 is one of the important safety standards for battery energy storage systems (BESS) in North America. It provides a structured framework for evaluating the safety and performance of energy storage equipment under applicable operating and fault conditions.
For ZetaCube, the UL 9540 certification applies to its battery cabinet, verifying its safety performance and compliance with applicable requirements. Supported by UL 9540A thermal runaway test results, the certification provides important technical documentation for project evaluation and can support the permitting and approval process with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), helping facilitate deployment in the North American market.
UL 1973: Proven Battery Reliability
ZetaCube has also achieved UL 1973, the North American safety standard for stationary battery systems. This certification validates the safety and reliability of the lithium-ion battery system through comprehensive testing of electrical protection, battery management, and operational safety, ensuring dependable performance in stationary energy storage applications.
