The cornerstone of the system is ZETATECH’s advanced Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) control technology. In a significant leap over traditional industry standards, the microgrid supports 10 to 16 units operating in adaptive parallel without the need for communication lines. Stability is maintained via rigorous primary and secondary frequency regulation, allowing the microgrid to respond to load fluctuations with millisecond precision. A standout technical feature is the PCS parallel control, which maintains circulating current within a narrow ±2kW margin. This precision minimizes energy waste and prevents hardware wear, maximizing the system’s lifespan.

When managed by ZETATECH’s proprietary Energy Management System (EMS) and Static Transfer Switch (STS), the microgrid transitions seamlessly between grid-tied and autonomous modes, ensuring zero downtime for critical operations.

Proven Performance in Malaysia

The capability of this solution is best demonstrated by its successful deployment on a remote island in Malaysia. In this challenging off-grid environment, ZETATECHs PCS operates in parallel with multiple VSGs and a synchronized diesel fleet—comprised of two 300kW and one 500kW units. The project continues to deliver stable, efficient power, proving that ZETATECHs "smart energy" vision is a reality.
