Technical Engineer (Iraq Local Hire)

Responsibilities

1. Lead on-site installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of energy storage systems (lithium batteries, inverters, BMS/EMS), ensuring compliance with company standards and local electrical codes.

2. Serve as the first point of contact for customer technical issues; diagnose and resolve faults remotely (phone/online tools) or via on-site visits.

3. Conduct operation & maintenance training for customers and their operators; help develop localized training materials and manuals when needed.

4. Collect and relay clear, timely field feedback to HQ R&D and Sales on product performance, recurring issues, and local market needs.

5. Coordinate with logistics and local service partners to ensure spare parts and service activities are delivered on time.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, or related field.

· 1-2+ years of hands-on field service experience in energy storage, UPS, solar inverters, or power systems.

· Fluent in written and spoken English (working language).

· Native Arabic; Kurdish (Erbil/Sulaymaniyah) is a strong plus; English as a working language.

· Prior experience with international companies or projects in the region is a strong plus.

· Strong customer service orientation; comfortable with frequent travel and outdoor work.

· Able to operate in high-security environments; willing to travel and rotate across sites.
